Ethics Institute of East Africa in partnership with its global partners through the WHISTLEBLOWERS OF AMERICA, seeks to transform the way everyone thinks about
whistleblowing and demonstrates the importance of whistleblowers in a transparent society. EthicEA provides practical, accessible, and affordable assistance to whistleblowers through advocacy and advisory service initiatives geared towards enhanced protection and fairness for whistleblowers within East African region. All whistleblowers, especially, those individuals who have suffered retaliation after having blown the whistle against fraud, bribery and other forms of corruption, are encouraged to register with EthicEA for future networking, collaboration,
engagement and support.

WHISTLEBLOWERS APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION FORM

The Institute therefore has opened registration of whistleblowers to become associate members of Ethics Institute of East Africa. This membership of whistleblowers is geared towards helping and supporting whistleblowers to network with each other, tell their own stories and motivate the society to embrace whistleblowing as an acceptable mode of reporting fraud and corruption, thus ensuring a transparent and accountable society. This membership does not confer ownership of the institute or any associated right or obligation. It is ONLY to support whistleblowers in East Africa.

Benefits of becoming an Associate Member
i) You will be invited to attend regular meetings and participate in whistleblowers’
conferences that will be presided over by global subject matter experts.
ii) You will be part of a wide global whistleblowing support and research network
iii) You will be engaged in whistleblowing, ethics and integrity consultations, projects, focus groups and research activities and networks
iv) You will get opportunity to share and publish your blogs and articles in our Ethics Watch Magazine
v) You will support the development of ideas that will advance the objectives of
whistleblowing in East Africa.
vi) Being part of this wider community, means, that you will always receive regular updates
& newsletters from EthicEA and its associated organisations globally.


Free Membership
EthicEA does not charge a membership fee, however, as an associate member, it is expected that you will donate your free time and participate in ethics, integrity and whistleblowers’ activities at the Ethics Institute and also commit to monthly donation of Kshs. 650.00 (equivalent to USD 5) which goes towards meeting the operation costs of the whistleblowing function in East Africa.
